The band has traditionally performed concerts each summer in Piqua's historic Hance Pavilion, but for the foreseeable future, the building hss been made unavailable by the city of Piqua. We will be continuing to perform in a variety of venues this summer. 2023 Officers: Director: Mr. Brett Poling

The Piqua Civic Band invites you to an evening of musical theater celebrating the two greatest American theater composers of the 20th century, Richard Rodgers & Stephen Sondheim. Come join the band at the Piqua Central Intermediate School on August 3rd at 7:00 p.m. to learn how these two very unique individuals had a common thread in their lives and how their music has influenced the next generation of Broadway musicians. Selections will include music from West Side Story, Oklahoma!, The King snd I, Company, Into the Woods, and many others.
The band will be joined for the evening by a quartet of singers bringing these Broadway treasures to life: Dr. David Sievers, Mr. Erik Strope, Miss Ruth Poling, and Miss Elizabeth Poling.
So bring the whole family and join us for a FREE fun-filled evening of familiar Broadway classics and a few that may be new to you as well!
